The County of San Mateo seeks vendors interested in tabling, providing product demonstrations and/or speaking at an upcoming event entitled:
"Future-Proof Your Multifamily Property: Rebates, Resources & Energy Efficiency Made Simple"
This informational event is targeted to multifamily property owners and managers in San Mateo County. It will showcase the value of energy efficiency upgrades and transitioning to efficient electric appliances such as heat pump water heaters and heat pump HVAC systems.
The County seeks contractors and vendors with experience in multifamily retrofits involving energy efficiency and the shift from natural gas to electric equipment. Vendors may include but are not limited to: developers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC contractors, general contractors, building performance contractors, designers, and architects. Tabling at the event is free and speakers will not be paid.
The event will take place on May 19 2026, 11am – 3pm in Redwood City, CA.
Vendors interested in tabling must arrive at least an hour in advance to set up and stay through the entire event.
This event is hosted by the County of San Mateo in partnership with the City of Burlingame, City of San Carlos, Town of Hillsborough, City of San Mateo, City of Menlo Park, City of Millbrae, the Bay Area Regional Energy Network (BayREN) and Peninsula Clean Energy via the San Mateo County Sustainability Department's RICAPS Climate Collaborative.
Interested vendors should fill in the following brief Request for Information (RFI) questionnaire by April 30 5:00pm.
Submitting a response to this RFI questionnaire does not obligate the County to invite the vendor to table or speak at the event. No contract will be awarded as part of this Request for Information (RFI).
