The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Government is conducting market research to identify potential Commercial (FAR Part 12) contractors to assemble/provide and build parts kits to support load cell requirements during upper lobe crown skin replacement on C-5Model aircrafts. These services include the acquisition, organizing, and kit building as described herein. The kit shall include 1 each wireless load cell CPU (AC100 RFX CPU – P/N: 140669), 14 each wireless radio modules (JW RFX Wireless Radio Module – P/N: 140658), 14 each stud adapters (JW Load Cell Stud Adapter – P/N: 140462), and a case to contain the items. Without load cell equipment, the crown skin replacement is not possible.
This equipment must work with Intercomp JW-50 compression canisters (P/N: 100277, NSN: 6670-01-390-3313).
The level of security clearance and amount of foreign participation in this requirement has not been determined.
The Government either owns or has access to all the data required for this effort.
Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all support equipment required at their facility or a subcontractor’s facility.
Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
