Solicitation Summary
The State of Maryland has a goal of 100% clean energy by 2035.
The purpose of this Request For Information (RFI), which is not a solicitation to procure,
is a means of conducting market research to identify capable parties having an interest in the Statewide/Renewable Energy Supply procurement for state government operations. This RFI is in addition to any formal forthcoming virtual conferences that would occur after the procurement solicitation posting once a date is determined. Respondents to this RFI may be placed on a list to notify them when DGS issues future renewable energy solicitations.
This RFI contains preliminary information to serve as a platform to initiate discussion with the vendor community. The requirements of this RFI are in no way final nor represent what may be contained in a Request for Proposal (RFP) or other procurement vehicle. This issuance does not constitute a commitment to issue a solicitation, award a contract, or pay any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this request. Furthermore, interested vendors shall abstain from submitting quotes or bids in response to the RFI.
