Sole Source Notice: ProMinent Sodium Hypochlorite Skip Pump Purchase & Installation from TriNova, Inc.

This is not a Request for Proposals and there is no solicitation available. The proposed contract action is for product or services for which the City intends to negotiate and award with only one source under the authority of the City of North Miami Beach City Code Section 3-4.8. Any responses received as a result of this Notice of Intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.

The Norwood Water Treatment Plant requires a full turnkey rehabilitation of its Sodium Hypochlorite pump room, including replacement of the end-of-life ProMinent chemical-feed skids, metering pumps, and dosing components that maintain continuous disinfection of the City's potable water. ProMinent Fluid Controls, Inc. has designated TriNova, Inc. as its sole authorized representative for the Florida municipal market. TriNova, Inc. is therefore the only source able to furnish factory-assembled ProMinent skids and to perform the authorized factory start-up that preserves the ProMinent and Endress+Hauser equipment warranties. No other vendor can supply or warrant this proprietary equipment.
