Sealed competitive bids will be received at the Department of Public Works, 84 Upland Way, Barrington, Rhode Island 02806, for the Christine Conrad Lane Memorial Dog Park Fencing Project at Haines Memorial State Park.

The project includes furnishing and installing approximately 1,022 linear feet of 6-foot black chain-link fencing, four pedestrian gates, two service gates, and associated hardware. Rhode Island prevailing wage requirements apply.

The Request for Proposals (RFP) will be available beginning October 13, 2027, on the Town of Barrington website or in person at the Department of Public Works.

A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2027, at 10:00 AM at the project site parking lot next to the current temporary dog park.

Sealed bids must be submitted to the Department of Public Works by 11:00 AM on Friday, October 29, 2027, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read.

Bids shall be appropriately marked “Dog Park Fencing Project” and addressed to:
