REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE CONTRACT PROPOSALS

Public Notice is hereby given that The County of Hunterdon is soliciting proposals through the competitive contracting process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1, et seq. from qualified individuals and firms for providing golf course operations/management services for Hunterdon Countys Heron Glen Golf Course located in Raritan Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a golf management company to operate, maintain and market Hunterdon Countys Heron Glen Golf Course.
Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the County of Hunterdon on July 15, 2026, by 3:00 PM prevailing time at the Hunterdon County Purchasing Department, 71 Main Street, 2rd Floor, Flemington, NJ, at which time and place responses will be opened and read for: 

GOLF COURSE MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION SERVICES
FOR THE HERON GLEN GOLF COURSE

Specifications and Instructions to Proposers are available via email. Email rrule@co.hunterdon.nj.us to receive a copy of the RFP. 
          
Proposals will be made in the form designated therein and required by the specifications, enclosed in a sealed envelope and addressed or hand delivered to:

Proposals are to be clearly marked with identification of the item proposed:

"PROPOSAL  0042-2026, Golf Course Management and Operation Services

Hunterdon County will not be responsible for proposal not arriving at the time and place designated.

On June 24, 2026, a non-mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at Heron Glen Golf Course, 110 Highway 202/31 Ringoes, N.J. 08551, beginning at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time followed directly with a tour of the course and associated facilities. The pre-proposal conference will not be a condition required by those desiring to submit a proposal but is highly recommended. 

Proposers must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.

The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject all proposals or to waive any minor informality in the Proposal received and to accept bids all in accordance with applicable law.
