The Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design intends to purchase annual membership in NCARB – National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. NCARB is the umbrella organization for regulatory boards that license architects. NCARB is the sole developer and administrator of the legally defensible and psychometrically justifiable Architect Registration Examination (ARE). NCARB is the sole administrator of the Architectural Experience Program (AXP) which eliminates the need for each jurisdiction to develop and maintain their own program. NCARB fosters collaboration with the boards that regulate architect licensure.
