|
The project consists of replacing approximately 5,889 LF of 8” ductile iron water main connecting to the existing 8” water main south of Plum Grove Road, continuing along the west side of Plum Grove Road to the existing water main on the north side of 21 Mile Road; 2,758 LF of 12” ductile iron water main connecting to the existing 8” water main along the south side of Millstone Drive, approximately 150 FT. East of Tally Ho Drive, crossing Millstone Drive and continuing along the north side of Millstone Drive to the existing water main on the east side of Romeo Plank Road, in accordance with the Bidding Documents prepared by the ENGINEER.

Qualifications:
|
To demonstrate qualifications to perform the Work, each Bidder must be prepared to submit within 5 days after Bid opening upon OWNER's request detailed written evidence such as financial data, previous experience, present commitments, and other such data as may be called for below:
The Bidder’s performance record with a listing of work of a similar character and proportions which it has constructed, giving the name of the OWNER, date built and original and final construction costs.
A tabulation of other work now under contract, giving the location, type, size, required date of completion and the percent of completion to date of each job.
An itemized list of the Bidder’s equipment available for use on the proposed contract.
A listing of the major parts of the work which are proposed to be subcontracted.
The Bidder’s financial statement.
Such additional information as will satisfy the OWNER that the Bidder is qualified to fulfill the Contract.

Special Requirements:
|
In addition to the above, and when so requested by the ENGINEER, the Bidder shall meet with the OWNER and its Representatives and give further information in relation to its proposed tentative construction plan and schedule of operations, and such other matters as the OWNER may deem necessary in order to determine the Bidder's qualifications, responsibility, and ability to perform and complete the work in accordance with the Contract requirements.
Subcontractors, when required to be identified in the Bid, may be required to provide similar detailed written evidence such as financial data, previous experience, and present commitments.
