Project Description: Issuing Procurement Unit: State of Utah Division of Purchasing

Professional Services Requested: Requests for Statement of Qualifications from contractors to design and construct a structure which will stabilize channels within the Durkee Springs wetland area, raise the water table, and expand the wetland back onto soils that are no longer connected to the water table by installing in-channel structures using rock or wood, commonly referred to as Zeedyke techniques.
A MANDATORY SITE VISIT will not be held.
It is strongly recommended that each potential bidder ensures that he/she has a complete understanding of the requirements of this project. Bidders are urged to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
Length of Contract: April 20th, 2026 – June 15th, 2026
The purpose of this RFSQ is to obtain statements of qualifications from companies. The intent is to award a contract under Utah Procurement Code 63G-6a Part 15 for the purchase of Design Professional Service Providers and Consultants. The vendor with the highest- ranking will be selected to negotiate a contract at compensation determined to be fair and reasonable. If fair and reasonable compensation, contract requirements, and contract documents cannot be agreed upon with the highest ranked vendor, the state may proceed with negotiations with the next highest ranked vendor. Do NOT include pricing when you submit your qualifications.
