ADVERTISEMENT FOR PROPOSALS
1.1 SOLICITATION
A. Sealed proposals from General Contractors will be received by the Heard County School System in the
Board Room located at 131 East Court Square, Franklin, Georgia until 2:00 P.M. EST, on
Wednesday, May 20, 2026, for the work stated below:

B. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Meeting will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:00 am
Eastern Standard Time at the Heard County School System Board Office located at 131 East Court
Square, Franklin, Georgia. Any person or entity that fails to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting
will not be permitted to submit a Proposal for this project and any Proposal submitted by a person or
entity that did not attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be returned unopened.
C. Competitive Sealed Proposals will be opened by the Review Committee and scored as outlined in the
Instruction to Proposers. Proposals will not be opened publicly. The Owner will notify the proposers in
writing of the results.
1.2 BID DOCUMENTS
Bid Documents may be downloaded through DeLoach Architect's Office. Please call
(478)742-4999 and Email arch.group@deloacharchitects.com to request the documents to be
downloaded for printing.
A. No deposits are required, and no refunds will be made.
B. Construction documents will not be sent to plan rooms.
C. The cost of printing documents is the responsibility of the Proposer.
1.3 CONDITIONS
A. No proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after proposals are submitted.
B. Proposals must include all information and documents required by Section 00200-Request For Proposals.
C. The Owner reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities and to reject any or all proposals.
