Ardsley Wildlife Sanctuary - Phase II Bid

NOTICE OF INVITATION FOR BIDS

Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, will receive Sealed bids electronically via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ for the Ardsley Wildlife Sanctuary - Phase II project by 12:00 P.M. on March 4, 2025.

Contract documents, including Drawings and Specifications, are on file at the Abington Township Building, 1176 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001, where they may be inspected at any time during regular business hours.

The project site is located on Maple Avenue with vehicular access. A full description of the project is included in the bid package.

ALL BID documents are available at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ and MUST be submitted electronically via PennBid. Paper Bids will not be accepted. All questions are to be submitted through PennBid by February 25, 2025 at 12:00 pm.

All subcontractors must be qualified and listed in the submitted bid with identification of each subcontractor's intended work on the project. As a municipal project funded in part by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (PADCNR) and award of the Contract is subject to final review and approval of PADCNR. Due to the size of the project, the project must be bid with prevailing wage rates. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (1 0%) of the total bid is required. Bid security shall be in the form of either a Bond issued by a corporate surety authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, or a certified check issued by a bank licensed to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. No bid may be withdrawn except as permitted by the Pennsylvania Bid Withdrawal Act, 73 P.S. ยง 1601 et seq. unless otherwise permitted by the Bid Documents.

The Township Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all proposals, or parts thereof, for any cause permitted by law, as it deems in the best interest of the Township. The standard under which bids will be evaluated and other bid requirements and instructions to bidders are included in the bid package.
