Project Description: The intent of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to obtain firm fixed price proposals
from qualified Contractors to provide Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), Remote Video Conferencing (RVC), Simultaneous Live Interpretation, In-Person Interpretation, Document Translation and Transcriptions and services for the Visually and Hearing-Impaired for various Montgomery County (County) departments on an “as-needed-basis”, three hundred sixty-five (365) days a year/ seven (7) days a week/ twenty-four (24) hours a day. The County intends to select a pool of providers as a result of this RFP. The County does not guarantee any minimum services to any one (1) Contractor. Vendors MUST include standardized glossaries and/or predictive text generators for cost reduction purposes. Confirm supported platforms for VRI/RVC (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom) and any licensing requirements for the County.
