Project Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit business information and pricing proposals from contractors who will develop a funding proposal for a Louisville Green Bank (“Green Bank”), including detailing its goals, structure, products and services, business plan, and funding needs, by March 31, 2025. This effort will better position Louisville Metro Government to meet its established goals of 100% clean energy and net zero greenhouse gas emissions community-wide by 2040, advance equity and environmental justice, mobilize private capital towards environmental goals, and receive and distribute funding through the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF). Louisville Metro Government, through its Mayor’s Office of Sustainability (“Metro”), will evaluate proposals based on the listed evaluation criteria to select a single contractor or multiple contractors (“Selected Contractor(s)”) to assist in components of the Green Bank funding proposal development.
