Description

The Netherlands American Cemetery (NEAC) is the only American military Cemetery in the Netherlands. The cemetery honors and protects the burials of 8,301 American military dead with another 1,722 names inscribed on the Walls of the Missing, and provides an opportunity for families of the soldiers, local inhabitants and others affected by the war to commemorate those buried in the cemetery, and to learn about the dynamics leading to the liberation of Europe.

The project consists of:

  1. Creating a new reinforced turf parking area with associated accessories and delineations

  2. Construction of two new restroom structures along with the associated sitework and utilities. The existing restroom facility will need to be demolished to allow for the construction of the new restroom at the south parking area. The newly constructed restrooms and parking will be integrated in the existing landscape and significantly improve visitor experience at Netherlands American Cemetery.
