A. Your firm is invited to submit an offer under seal to Owner for construction of a building
addition located at the above address before 11:00 am local time on the 26th day of August,
2026, for:
B. Project: Gogebic County Jail Recreation Addition
C. Architect's Project Number: G53-06218.
D. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained from the office of the
Owner for a non-refundable fee, by cash, in the amount of $$75.00 for one set. PDF
documents are available via email at no cost.
E. Documents will also be available for viewing at the office of the Architect and at the following
Builders Exchanges: Builders Exchange of Wisconsin (Appleton), Duluth, Iron Mountain-
Kingsford, Marquette, Northwest Michigan, and McGraw Hill Construction-Dodge (Lansing).
F. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through will take place at 200 N Moore St. Bessemer,
MI 49911 at 11:00 a.m. CDT on Wednesday August 12th, 2026. The meeting will start in the
Courthouse conference room.
G. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than
5 percent of the Bid Amount.
H. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Document 00 21 13 - Instructions to Bidders.
I. Submit your offer on the Bid Form provided
J. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30
days after submission.
K. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers.
