Wander/Elopement guard system

The Ohio Department of Veteran Services, Ohio Veterans Home Sandusky (OVH-S) and Ohio Veterans Home Georgetown (OVH-G) are seeking bids for replacing the existing Wander Guard solutions, installation located at 3416 Columbus Avenue Sandusky OH, 44870 and 2003 Veterans Blvd Georgetown OH, 45121.

A Mandatory Site visit will be held on 11/04/25@ 11:00am at 3416 Columbus Ave. Sandusky Ohio 44870.  Please sign in at the Griffin Police entrance.

AMandatory Site visit will be held on 11/05/25 @ 10:00am at 2003 Veterans Blvd.  Georgetown, OH 45121.  Please sign in at the front entrance.

Mandatory site visits are not required o nly for suppliers that attended the mandatory site visits for Sourcing project SRC0000033725.
The State will not be responsible to a Supplier for their failure to obtain information discussed during the site visit due to their arriving after the site visit has convened. Failure to attend the site visit will render that Supplier’s
proposal non-responsive and ineligible for award.

All questions and submittions are to be submitted via inquiry section in Ohio Buys. Please ensure the Item Grid is properly filled out. Additionally please submit your quote on company letterhead, and submit and attach to the Solicitation in Ohio Buys. The Solicitation will be awarded based on the result of an evaluation process and awarded based on the the ablility to best meet the criteria within the scope of work as well as cost as determined by the agency. Please review the item grid and Scope of Work for detail specifications that must be adhered to.

Note: Any pre-printed terms and conditions on forms used by the supplier do not supplement or replace the Standard Terms and Conditions of the State of Ohio, or any Specific Terms and Conditions of the resulting contract of any solicitation.  The Standard Terms and Conditions for the State of Ohio are not negotiable.

All Bids and offers will be considered for preferences, with a Bidder or an Offeror being able to qualify for all three preferences (i.e., Buy American, Buy Ohio, and VBE) under OAC Section 123:5-1-06.
