CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY. The City of Champlin is seeking proposals from a qualified consulting partner to modernize its job evaluation and compensation systems. This initiative represents an opportunity to design a fair, transparent, and competitive framework that supports both employees and the City’s long-term success. The consultant will be tasked with refining job descriptions for accuracy and consistency, developing a new compensation policy, conducting a comprehensive market analysis of pay structures and benefits, and recommending a cost-effective, standardized job evaluation process. With recent organizational growth, new roles, and market-driven adjustments, the City recognizes the importance of establishing a clear, equitable, and repeatable approach to classification and compensation.
