CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION STUDY. The City of Champlin is seeking proposals from a qualified consulting partner to modernize its job evaluation and compensation systems. This initiative represents an opportunity to design a fair, transparent, and competitive framework that supports both employees and the City’s long-term success. The consultant will be tasked with refining job descriptions for accuracy and consistency, developing a new compensation policy, conducting a comprehensive market analysis of pay structures and benefits, and recommending a cost-effective, standardized job evaluation process. With recent organizational growth, new roles, and market-driven adjustments, the City recognizes the importance of establishing a clear, equitable, and repeatable approach to classification and compensation. Champlin is committed to aligning its practices with industry standards while ensuring fiscal responsibility. Qualified firms are invited to submit proposals to help shape a sustainable and forward-looking compensation system for the City’s future. To obtain a full copy of the RFP, email Kirsten McDermott or visit the City’s website . The deadline to submit proposals is October 6 at 4:30 p.m. Contact Kirsten McDermott with any questions.
