This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.



This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03.



The U.S. Coast Guard Base Ketchikan requires semi-annual cleaning and annual inspection and certification of its two (2) Gaylord commercial kitchen hood systems located in the Galley and Crow’s Nest facilities. Work must be performed by a factory-trained and authorized Gaylord Industries technician and meet the standards outlined in:




  • Gaylord Manufacturer Specifications

  • NFPA-96 (1998 Edition or current, as enforced by AHJ)

  • Ketchikan Municipal Code (where applicable)

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE




  • Base Year: Date of Award through 30 September 2026

  • Option Periods: Four (4) additional 12-month periods may be exercised at the Government’s discretion

Award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.

To be deemed technically acceptable, the offer must:




  • Meet all SOW requirements

  • Include all required documentation

  • Be submitted on time
