Description
Notice is hereby given that the Ministry of Forests is contemplating making a direct award of a contract to R. Cote Trucking Ltd (the “Supplier”).
The high-level details of the contemplated contract are generally described below.
R. Cote Trucking Ltd will be the contractor to harvest, skid and deck all wildfire damaged stems immediately adjacent to a proposed fence line in Monte Lake, B.C. The ROW to be cleared is approximately 1600m in length with varying widths up to 60m.
The term of the contract is expected to be 4 weeks from May 18, 2025 to June 18, 2025.
The aggregate value of the contract is expected not to exceed, exclusive of applicable taxes, $35,000.
The Province is contemplating a direct award with the Supplier for the following reasons:
Contractor’s labour and equipment availability to complete the work within the proposed timeline.
Proximity of contractor to proposed work site.
Contractor is SAFE Certified.
