Description
Submissions marked "COR7306 – Kinsmen Park Improvements" will be received by the City of Regina (see Part 1.5.1 of the RFP), no later than 2:00:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, on Tuesday June 03, 2025.
The City seeks proposals in response to this RFP from entities qualified and experienced in the design, supply and installation of an accessible playground and a spray pad for Kinsmen Park South, located at 3310 Lakeview Avenue, Regina.
The project will include the following elements, including, and not limited to the below:
1. Removal and replacement of the existing spray pad including a new "Life Floor" rubber surfacing.
2. Removal and replacement of the existing playground.
3. Landscaping in the park including the construction of a new toboggan hill.
4. Construction of an all-season washroom in the existing storage shed.
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of approximately 4 months, with substantial performance of the Works set at October 31, 2025.
Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by:
Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement
Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement
Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement
There will not be a public opening however the list of firm names who submitted a response will be posted to the Sasktenders website.
There will be an information session regarding this competition on May 15, 2025, at 10 a.m., C.S.T. (SK) for any interested proponents to attend. The session will take place at the existing spray pad area in Kinsmen Park South, located at 3310 Lakeview Avenue, Regina, Saskatchewan.
The estimated contract period will be 4 month(s).
