Description
Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 8.5 m PGO girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a new 3670 mm x 27.43 m SPCSP culvert. The crossing is located on Range Road 124 over a Tributary to the Peace River, 36 km northeast of Fort Vermillion. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of the Tender Document for the Contractor's continence.
Without limiting the provisions of the Specifications and the Contract, the scope of work at the sit shall include the following:
- Traffic Accomodation
- Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure
- Structural Excavation
- SPCSP - Supply
- SPCSP - Assembly
- Backfill
- Concrete End Treatment
- Roadway Work
- Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap
- Rock Ditch Drains - Class 1M
- Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Silt Fence)
- Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fiber Roll)
- Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Soil Covering (Type C)
