This construction contract administration services assignment is for MTO contract 2022-4005.

• The purpose of this project is to improve drainage on Highway 28 with the rehabilitation of centreline and side road culverts by means of open-cut or trenchless technologies. Culvert abandonment and ditching will also be utilized to improve drainage.

• The scope of this project includes rehabilitating 68 culverts within the limits of Apsley to Bancroft; 33 open cut, 1 abandonment and re-ditching, 8 cleanouts, and 26 trenchless replacements. The work will also include replacing cable guide rail locations that are impacted with steel beam guide rail. The work also includes placing 150mm of HMA at culvert replacement locations (50mm SP 12.5FC1 surface, 50mm SP 19.0 upper binder, 50mm lower binder).

• The service provider will provide an administration office and a full compliment of staff to provide contract administration and inspection services.

• The project will be administered using the Contract Administration System (CMS)

• The assignment is planned over 2 years, starting in July 2025 and will extend until October 2026.
