Description
The City of Medicine Hat, the Town of Redcliff, and Cypress County (hereinafter referred to as
“the Region”) have a longstanding and collaborative emergency management relationship. Each municipality maintains its own Municipal Emergency Management Plan (MEMP) while sharing a single Regional Emergency Management Plan (REMP). The current REMP requires a major update and will be revised through funding provided by a recently awarded $125K provincial grant. The project team will consist of one representative from each municipality, with the City of Medicine Hat providing project management and administrative support. A detailed description of the required services is provided in the Scope of Work.
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of one (1) year, with an option in favour of the City to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional one (1) year term. The term of the agreement shall not exceed two (2) years.
