Background
The Christopher Shores subdivision, constructed in 1949, is currently served by an aging and deteriorated stormwater system that lacks the capacity to manage existing runoff flow rates or meet current stormwater management requirements. Residents experience flooding during storm events, and some areas are completely without adequate stormwater infrastructure. This project aims to reduce the risk of street flooding throughout the Christopher Shores area by installing a new drainage system designed to meet modern stormwater management standards, including the capacity to convey runoff from a 10‑year storm event.
