Description


Sealed bids will be received by the Fort Valley Utility Commission Administration Office,
500 Anthoine St., Fort Vally, GA 31030 until: Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at 10:00 am
for the furnishing of labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for the construction and
installation of:
Replacing approximately 1,700 ft of 2¿ Steel with 2¿ PE gas main and 12 residential
gas services on Crestwood Dr. in Fort Valley, GA.
Bids received after the designated time will not be considered.
Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the above address for the Fort
Valley Utility Commission. To be considered, the bid shall include a copy of the Utility
Contractors License, appropriate insurance certificate and a summary list of contractor
employees showing tasks and expiration dates for Operator Qualification under the current GMA
OQ Plan.
Electronic versions of the bid documents and construction specifications are available by
contacting Jason Baker at tjbaker@sappengineerng.com. A mandatory prebid meeting will be
held at the above address on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 at 10:00 am to answer questions
and review the details of the project.
All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%)
of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a
Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the
Contract amount.
The Fort Valley Utility Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive
formalities and re-advertise.
