Q: Advise locations and accurate quantity of the deluge systems on the campus. A: 2 Suppression Deluge Systems located at LSCI UNICOR and FCI UNICOR (Dust Collectors).

Q: Advise if existing 1 year test reports can be included in information prior to award. A: Test reports cannot be included prior to award.

Q: Access to maps or blueprints of the areas where fireline inspections will take place. Any additional site plans or diagrams.

A: Maps and blueprints cannot be provided prior to award. An attachment "Sprinkler System List" has been attached to this solicitation that names and lists locations for all systems. 120 Wet System Risers, 6 Dry System Risers, 1 Pre action System Riser, and 2 Suppression Deluge Systems

Updated 3/3/2025: Site visit scheduled for interested parties will be 8:00AM EST March 18, 2025 at FCC Allenwood. Any interested party must submit "NCIC Form" (attached to this solicitation) for all individuals planning to attend to kysmith@bop.gov and thartline@bop.gov no later than 2:00PM EST March 13, 2025. Failure to submit NCIC will restrict attendance for site visit. All attendees must be approved prior to site visit.

Q: Any details on the manufacturer, brands, or specific components of the existing system? A: Various manufacturers, brands, and compontents. To include: Kennedy, Globe, USG, Viking, Victaulic and others.

FCC Allenwood hereby issues solicitation 15B20125Q00000008 for the award of a firm-fixed-price contract entitled FCC Allenwood 5 Year Sprinkler Inspection at FCC Allenwood, located in Allenwood, Pennsylvania.

FCC Allenwood is a Federal Correctional Complex located at Route 15, 2 Miles N of Allenwood, Allenwood, PA 17810. The work to be performed in association with this project includes the following scope of work attached to this solicitation.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 238220. Any contractor interest in obtaining a contract award with the Federal Bureau of Prisons must be registered at www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a written offer which will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after, February 26, 2025 with a due date of March 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through sam.gov website. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. This requirement is a Firmed-Fixed-Price contract. The Government will award to responsible vendor(s) whose offer, conforms to the solicitation, and are considered to be most advantageous to the Government. Past performance will be considered approximately equal in value to price. The Best Value Determination method will be used to make award for this requirement. FAR defines “Best value” as the expected outcome of an acquisition that, in the Government’s estimation, provides the greatest overall benefit in response to the requirement. Please include shipping in all pricing Considerations for this best value determination include 1 – Price; 2 - Past Performance to include timeliness of delivery, providing correct product as specified, completing order as awarded/quoted, quality of items provided, and providing the correct quantity of items awarded, as well as FAPIIS and PPIRS reports; (poor past performance, failure to deliver awarded items in the past, not meeting required specifications, etc.), may result with the vendors quotes being considered as a non-responsible vendor. 3 - Technically Acceptable Item.
