1. PURPOSE:

This Invitation for Bid 61000XXXXX will be to mount a suitable platform for a skid unit application on an agency owned new and unused 2025 Ford F-550 Crew Cab (179” WB, 60” CA) XL 4WD Chassis Cab equipped with a 6.7L Power Stroke V8 Diesel Engine (VIN #1FD0W5HT7SEC82018). This chassis is bare and has not had a body previously installed.

This equipment is for the Pennsylvania Game Commission.

2. METHOD OF AWARD:

It is the intent of the Commonwealth to make a single award of item(s) listed in the IFB to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. The Commonwealth reserves the right to award by line item if it determines that it is in the best interest of the Commonwealth to do so.

4. SPECIFICATIONS:

Heavy Duty Aluminum Flatbed

• 110” length x 96” width to accommodate 60” cab-to-axle

• 100% Heat Treated Aluminum Alloy Construction

• 6000 series extrusions with 37,000 PSI minimum tensile strength

• Floor constructed of aluminum allow plank extrusions reinforced every 5” with tongue-in-groove joint

• 34” Longsills to be 4” high x 2-1/2” wide structural aluminum channel

• 5-1/2” Custom rub rails with extruded ribs and mitered corners

• Stake pockets in side rail

• Flush mounted 2-1/2” grommet style LED clearance, marker and I.D. lights according to current FMVSS standards

• Rated at 200 lbs/sq ft evenly distributed load

• 96” x 43” Squared cab guard with protected window area

o 5-1/2” frame that matches rub rail appearance

o Bulkhead of 1/8” bright diamond plate

o Whelen Amber MC16PA Roof Light installed on top of cab guard wired to manufacturer/OEM upfitter switch in cab

o Two (2) Ecco LED work lights installed within the dimension of the cab guard (to provide protection from damage from low branches etc)

o Grab handles mounted, one each side, to assist in accessing the bed using the provided ladder

• 10” bright diamond plate tailboard with wrap around corners including

o License plate light

o Oval LED stop/tail/turn and back-up lights

• 12” custom fabricated rear pooched step bumper mounted to frame

o Custom light apron

o Integral Class V hitch receiver

o (2) Buyers foldable steps

o 7/4-pin trailer plug

• 97 Decibel back up alarm

• Rear mudflaps with anti-sail device

• Underbody toolboxes

o (2) boxes ahead of rear wheels – 24” long x 18” wide x 18” high

o (2) boxes behind rear wheels – 24” long x 18” wide x 18” high

• Two (2) Buyers foldable steps installed on front toolboxes

o Must include reinforcement necessary for durability and proper use and to prevent failure of ladder, box, or body.

• Two (2) additional ECCO LED work lights mounted at rear of body in conspicuous location to avoid damage, wired to manufacturer/OEM upfitter switch on dash.

• Vendor to work with a Ford dealer partner to provide:

o Supply and install factory/OEM brake controller integrated into dash and programmed to operate as per Ford OEM design (Existing chassis is NOT equipped with the optional factory/OEM brake controller)

o Supply and install factory/OEM backup camera with necessary programming to factory in cab display (chassis does NOT have factory/OEM camera option)

• Vendor is to provide transportation of the bare chassis from its location at State Game Lands 169.  375 Bridgewater Road, Newville, PA  17241 and return to the same once the body installation is completed.
