Al Tech Specialty Steel Site Master Plan/GEIS Statement

The Advance Albany County Alliance (“Alliance”) will receive sealed proposals for the Al Tech Specialty Steel Site Master Plan / Generic Environmental Impact Statement prior to 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday January 29, 2025. Proposals received after this time will not be accepted.

Printed proposals will be delivered to the Advance Albany County Alliance, 111 Washington Avenue, Suite 100, Albany, NY 12210, Attn: Clayton Besch, Project Manager and electronically by submitting to the e-mail address cbesch@advancealbanycounty.com .

The Advance Albany County Alliance LDC is soliciting proposals from qualified environmental engineering and consultants to provide comprehensive Master Plan and GEIS for the Al Tech Specialty Steel site located at 102 Spring Street Road and 2A Lincoln Ave, Watervliet, NY 12189.

The full Request for Proposals Document will be available on the Advance Albany County Alliance website ( www.advancealbanycounty.com ) and by email request to cbesch@advancealbanycounty.com . All respondents are required to provide their contact information to the Alliance so that they can be informed of all necessary information, including the notice of bid addenda via digital shared folder.

Prospective bidders may request clarifications of the Bid Documents by contacting the project contact, Clayton Besch, at cbesch@advancealbanycounty.com . All questions must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. All e-mails must include "RFP# AACA2403: Al Tech Master Plan/GEIS" within the subject line. Questions received after 4:00 PM on Monday December 23, 2024 cannot be answered.

Contract will be awarded by the Advance Albany County Alliance Local Development Corporation which reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids.
