Description: The work of this single bid project consists of a multi-phased project that will completely renovate the central and northeast wings of the 4th floor of Weiskotten Hall for the Department of Laboratory Animal for Research program including replacement and upgrade to mechanical systems. The project will provide a new cage washer, autoclave and new mechanical fan tower. The renovation will provide facilities that comply with accreditation requirements. In addition, there will be a six-story fan tower addition centralized building utility equipment space for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for the Weiskotten Hall 4th Floor DLAR renovations as well as to provide additional mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system capacity or the ability to augment capacity to accommodate future renovations. Plans will be available after December 9, 2024, through Plan & Print Systems, Inc. (315-437-5111 & docadmin@planandprint.com ).
A project walk-through has been scheduled for December 19, 2024, starting at 10:00am and meeting at the Weiskotten Hall Main Entrance Lobby to sign in with Security.

All bidders must present evidence of skill, experience and financial qualifications per Information to Bidders, Section 7 of the project specs. Subcontracting is permitted (Section 2.18 of SUCF Agreement). Principal subcontractors must be named within 48 hrs after bid opening per Information for Bidders Section 8. Bidders must submit within 48 hrs either certification of its NYS VendRep questionnaire (preferred) or a signed and notarized paper CCA2 form (Version 3/22 only), Attachments A, B, and C, Appendix A form, work descriptions, and preliminary project schedule.
