The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The “Repair FTD Building Envelope” project includes infrastructure
upgrades to ensure consistent operation of the Fort Thomas Domiciliary. These upgrades include
the reparation of the degrading parapet roof with comprehensive waterproofing and structural
repairs, and integration of a compliant lightning protection system as well as the front patio accent
wall restoration. This construction project requires general contracting surveys, and minor
demolition of existing conditions, structural framing, waterproofing, electrical grounding and
finishing services. This includes but is not limited to water infiltration, structural failure, lightning
damage, and protection from environmental hazards such as moisture penetration, energy
inefficiencies, and potential safety hazards.
