The project will include, but not be limited to milling and resurfacing Banks Street (Main Street to Washington Avenue) and the entrance throat to Alva Place. The milled areas of the project include spot pavement reconstruction as needed; curb bump outs; some curb resetting; sidewalk infrastructure upgrades to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); resetting of drainage structures; installation of new drainage structures; driveway apron replacement; a dedicated bike lane; a shared bike line; decorative crosswalks, and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs).
