The City of Clayton, Missouri, is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide a Defined Benefit Pension Administration Software to support the City’s retirement plan operations. The City seeks a modern, scalable, and secure software solution to streamline pension calculations, improve service to plan members, ensure data integrity, and enhance regulatory compliance.
The City currently administers a Non-Uniformed Employee Pension Fund and Uniformed Employee Pension Fund, which are defined benefit pension plans. The Non-Uniformed Employee Pension Fund has approximately 90 active employees, 61 vested terminated, and 80 retirees and beneficiaries and is governed by the Non-Uniformed Employee Retirement Fund Board. The Uniformed Employee Pension Fund has approximately 85active employees, 4 active Forward DROP, 82 vested terminated and 15 retirees and beneficiaries and is governed by the Uniformed Employee Retirement Fund Board. Both Boards are subject to Missouri Revised Statutes and relevant Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) requirements.
