The Purchasing Office of the Cedar Rapids Community School District requests your bid for services and/or products. All prices are to be bid F.O.B 2500 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405. Do not include Federal or State Tax in costs submitted.
The Purchasing Office and/or Board of Directors reserve the right to reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, and to waive informalities and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interest of the Cedar Rapids Community School District, in the County of Linn, State of Iowa.
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received electronically before
10:00am on Tuesday, May 20th, for Two (2) 72-Passenger School Bus with Wheelchair Lift
as requested by the Cedar Rapids Community School District. The District will only accept bids submitted through the District's Online E-Procurement portal system (IonWave).
Email, fax or hard copy submittals are not acceptable.
Suppliers are solely responsible for correctly submitting their response into the electronic system (IonWave). The District bears no responsibility for delays or errors in submittal of response by the Supplier. Bids will be opened on Tuesday, May 20th, at 10:00am CST (our clock). Bids will be evaluated promptly after opening. After an award is made, a bid tabulation summary will be sent to all companies who submitted a bid. Bid results will not be given over the telephone or prior to award. Bids may be withdrawn any time prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids; no bid may be modified or withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days thereafter. In addition to the information provided in the Invitation to Bid, a pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 13th at 11:00 AM at the Educational Leadership and Support Center, 2500 Edgewood Rd NW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52405. Attendance is not mandatory, but all interested bidders are strongly encouraged to participate. This meeting offers an opportunity to review the scope of work, view the work areas and equipment, ask questions, and request clarification regarding the specifications outlined in this bid document. Participating in the meeting will help vendors better understand the systems and conditions that may impact quality, delivery, and overall performance.
