Project Description: Louisville Metro Government Public Health and Wellness (LMPHW) are looking for a qualified vendor who can provide certified peer support services for our overdose Quick Response Team program. We expect the organization to provide up to two certified peer support specialists, preferably people with lived experience of an opioid use disorder, who have experience providing support to people who use substances. The peer support roles partner with LMPHW staff to visit residents who have recently experienced an overdose. The program seeks to link people to services that support their health, including harm reduction resources, treatment for substance use disorder (including Medication for Opioid Use Disorder), mental and physical healthcare, and other supportive services.
