Remnant 25/26 Timber Sale

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Florida Forest Service is seeking sealed bids for the sale of timber. This is a leave tree marked thinning of approximately 98 acres of loblolly and slash pine on Blackwater River State Forest in Okaloosa County, Florida (SFI Certified Forest #NSF-SFI-FM-C0245755). All unmarked pine within the sale area is available for harvest.  Timber marked with yellow paint is not to be harvested or damaged. Estimated volumes for the sale are as follows: 1,074 tons of pine pulpwood, 201 tons of pine super pulpwood, 465 tons of pine chip-n-saw, 5,804 tons of pine sawtimber, and 644 tons of pine poles.  Sale area boundaries are marked with double dots of orange paint.  This will be a 12-month contract. The Florida Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in bids received.
