The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Louisville District intends to issue Solicitation W912QR25RA018 for a Total Small Business Set-Aside on for the Repair of Building 315, located in New Cumberland, PA. This is a Design-Build repair of an existing 33,337 square feet Army Reserve Center that is in a failed or failing condition. Constructed in July 1992, Building 315 provides mission essential functional areas in support of an Engineer Company, three Finance Companies, two Legal Operations Detachments, and two DLA support Detachments. The repairs will provide the necessary operational building functional areas for the training and mission support of these commands. Repairs include, and are not limited to mechanical, plumbing and electrical, non-compliant with life safety, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) standards. Contractor should be familiar with earthwork construction in local areas, masonry structures, structural steel, extension of underground utilities, and connection to existing underground utilities. Successful bidders shall be familiar with widely accepted and generally acknowledged successful practices for local construction.
The project award is Subject to the Availabiity of Funds (SAF).
This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside solicitation.
The project duration is currently estimated at 1100 calendar days (subject to change) from the contract Notice to Proceed.
