AMENDMENT 0002 HAS BEEN POSTED --- Amendment 2 allows for acceptance of R410A Refrigerant and allows the contractor to continue installation while the vessel is underway in Pool 4. Please see the revised SOW.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - St. Paul District requires a contractor to supply, install and test one new HVAC unit with heat pump on the M/V Warioto to include all labor and materials associated with the replacement of the HVAC system. The Warioto is a towing vessel that pushes the Dredge Goetz fleet up and down the Mississippi River System. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Saint Paul District, operates the Warioto in the northern sections of the Mississippi River and parts of the Illinois River. It is typically operating from May thru November.
All installation and testing shall take place by May 19, 2025. If the weather does not permit system testing and commissioning at the time of completion the contractor shall schedule a system test and commissioning on the next business day of permittable weather.
Outdoor Heat Pump Condensing Unit 4.0 ton, 230VAC, single phase, 60 Hz to meet or exceed federal guidelines for energy star certification, compatible with 2025 EPA compliant regulations using R-32 Refrigerant and have Max Dimensions W 37” x H 56” x D 30” to fit in the installation space
Indoor Air handler 230VAC, single phase, 60Hz to meet or exceed federal guidelines for energy star certification, that is compatible with 2025 EPA compliant regulations using R-32 Refrigerant, Max Dimensions W 33.5” if including plumbing X H57” or H 59.5” with allowable modification to existing inlet ductwork X D 25.25” including plumbing) to fit in the installation space. Cooling Btu/h between 45,000 and 50,000. Heating Btu/h between 50,000 and 55,000. The heat function shall be able to function to 0 degrees F or lower. The airflow shall have a minimum of 1250 CFM.
Line sets 3/8”x 5/8” that are compatible with 2025 EPA compliant regulations using R-32 Refrigerant
Applicable controls ie: thermostats, shut off switch, etc
Applicable ductwork transitions
Applicable drains

Quotes must include information about the manufacturer, model and country of origin of the unit they are offering to supply the Government. Quote must also include a proposed installation schedule.
