THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS NOT A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), OR AN INVITATION FOR BID. THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 5 TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL SOURCES.
This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse contractors for any costs incurred as a result of their response to this Pre-Solicitation. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to assist the US Forest Service, White River National Forest, in conducting market research to identify sources to meet its requirements, and in accordance with FAR Part 10, to make appropriate acquisition decisions and gain knowledge of potential sources that are capable of upgrading the fire alarm system in the Supervisor’s Office. The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561621.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:The White River National Forest Supervisor’s Office is seeking to replace the fire alarm main panel and necessary components for proper operation of the system. A chip in the main panel has broken off and the panel is issuing an error that cannot be removed until the problem is fixed. The upgrade will consist of replacing the main panel with a newer model and replacing any other components of the fire alarm system to operate appropriately.
The Supervisor’s Office is located at 900 Grand Ave, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601.
The Contractor shall be able to provide all equipment, supplies and personnel necessary to complete the job including disposal of removed components. The Supervisor’s Office is currently in use the contractor will need to coordinate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) during the upgrading process.
It is anticipated that this project will commence in the early part of July 2025.
Contractors must be registered in the Federal Government System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be awarded a Government Contract.

Standard company brochures may be included with your response. Submission of company brochures without the capability statement is not considered a sufficient response to this Sources Sought. Response to a Sources Sought Solicitation does not commit an interested party to submit a proposal in response to the issued Solicitation.
This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this Sources Sought will be treated as business confidential information and exempted from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Nonetheless, submitters should properly mark their responses if the information is confidential. Response to this Sources Sought Solicitation will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
