NOTICE OF SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT

Pursuant to UTAH CODE ANN. §63G-6a-802, public notice is hereby given that South Valley Water Reclamation Facility (“SVWRF”) intends to conduct a sole source procurement for the removal of all settled grit and other material from the floor of SVWRF’s aeration basin(s) while protecting the existing aeration system from damage or abuse.

The SVWRF intends to negotiate the terms of the procurement, including price and schedule, to ensure they are in the best interest of the SVWRF. SVWRF has determined there is only one source for this procurement and that transitional costs are unreasonable and that it is in the best interest of SVWRF to engage in this procurement without the unnecessary expense of engaging in a standard procurement process. Parties who wish to obtain a copy of the procurement documents, desire additional information related to this sole source procurement, or contest it, for any reason, should contact the Issuing Procurement Unit Contact person listed above.
The final decision for this sole source procurement will be made no earlier than October 15, 2025 at 10:30 AM.
