NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Modesto, County of Stanislaus, State of California (“City”), will receive electronic sealed Bids (each, a “Bid”) from qualified Bidders (each, a “Bidder”) for the furnishing of Shredding Services equipment, materials, supplies and/or related services (the “Services”) for the City of Modesto, Finance Department, Purchasing Division.

Background

Across all City departments, a significant amount of paper documents requires shredding services due to the nature of the confidentiality of the documents. Once documents have met the retention records time frame, the City departments take the next steps to ensure these documents are shredded. Over 50% of the shredding services required are utilized by the City of Modesto Police Department. This bid is to secure the services of a competent shredding service to assist the City with document shredding to maintain confidentiality of shredded documents.
