General Notice

Greenville Water (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

H1 - North Main Galvanized Pipe Replacement

CGRE250076

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the office of Greenville Water located at 407

W Broad St Greenville, SC 29601 until Thursday, July 2nd at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids

received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Construction of approximately 4,200 LF of 8-inch watermain and 2,070 LF of 6-inch watermain and

associated site work and appurtenances.

Bids are requested for the following Contract: H1 – North Main Galvanized Pipe Replacement

The Project has an expected duration of 160 days.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Prospective Bidders may obtain or examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday

through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm local time, and may obtain copies of the Bidding

Documents from the Issuing Office as described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be

available from the Issuing Office.

Digital copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office upon request, or a

printed set can be obtained upon payment of a $75 one-time printing fee. No refunds will be granted.

Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “Goodwyn Mills Cawood”. Upon receipt of check as

indicated above, or electronic proof of check as submitted via email to becca.pick@gmcnetwork.com,

the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The date that the Bidding

Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the

Bidding Documents. Bidder is solely responsible for verifying the most recent version of Bidding

Documents, including any addenda, have been downloaded if electronic access has been purchased.

Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor

Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any,

obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Thursday, June 18th at 2:00 pm local time at 407 W

Broad St Greenville, SC 29601. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.

refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents.
