Description
Please read this entire notice carefully as it constitutes the only presolicitation notice anticipated to be issued for this requirement.
This is a synopsis for a planned construction requirement for 692-24-105 Replace B211A Chiller.
Paper copies of this notice and the anticipated solicitation will not be available. Request for copies will not be honored. This notice and the anticipated solicitation are available via System for Award Management (SAM.gov) Contract Opportunities.
The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code will be 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. The size standard for this NAICS code is $19.0 million dollars.
General Information:
This solicitation will be issued as a total set-aside for small businesses. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Network Contracting Office 20 (NCO 20) anticipates making one (1) firm-fixed-price construction award because of this solicitation.
Offerors wishing to submit a response to the solicitation are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and for frequently monitoring SAM.gov Contracting Opportunities for any amendments to the solicitation.
Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), have an active account, and have completed the Representations and Certifications sections prior to submitting an offer and receiving a contract award in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 4.11.
For an offer to be considered under this solicitation, offerors must submit all required information listed in the solicitation documents posted to SAM.gov Contracting Opportunities to the designated point of submission by no later than the date and time set as deadline for receipt of offerors. Late and incomplete offers may not be considered for award, pursuant to the terms and conditions of the solicitation as posted.
Project Description:
The anticipated magnitude of the project of this project IAW FAR 36.204 is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00.
This project will remove and replace the chiller located in Building 211A of the White City, OR VHA facility. Building 211A is currently an occupied and in use, including for patient care, and is currently anticipated to remain in use for these functions during the project. As such, temporary chilling is required, and work outside patient care hours may be determined necessary by VHA.
Further details will be provided in the solicitation when released.
Solicitation Package:
It is anticipated that the Request for Proposals for this project will be posted to SAM.gov Contract Opportunities on or around April 1, 2025.
An organized site visit is anticipated to be included in the details of the solicitation. VHA NCO 20 does not anticipate offering multiple opportunities for a site visit.
Parties interested in this solicitation are advised that they are solely responsible for obtaining a copy of the solicitation and any/all amendments posted from SAM.gov Contract Opportunities. No requests for the package to be provided via alternate means and methods will be accepted.
Responses to the solicitation must be concise, contain all required information, and be specifically directed to the specific solicitation requirements.
Late submissions will NOT be accepted unless VHA NCO 20 determines a valid exception per FAR part 15 applies.
