Synopsis:

Project Overview

We are seeking qualified contractors to compact approximately 3 miles of unpaved (Summer Dirt) roadway. Existing loose dirt is piled along the roadway and must be redistributed, graded, and compacted to create a stable, drivable surface.

Location: Rural Municipality of Tramping Lake No. 380

Twp 382 & Range Road 3214

Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and materials necessary to complete the following:

  • Redistribute existing piled dirt evenly across the roadway
  • Grade the road to proper crown and drainage
  • Compact the roadway to a firm, uniform surface suitable for vehicle traffic
  • Shape shoulders and edges as needed
  • Final grading and compaction to owner’s satisfaction

Road Details

  • Length: 3 Miles
  • Surface: Existing Dirt
  • No new material anticipated unless approved separately

Schedule

  • Work to be completed during May 2026
  • Contractor must indicate anticipated start date and duration
  • Timely completion is a material requirement of this contract

Contractor Requirements:

  • Proven experience with dirt road construction or rehabilitation
  • Proper grading and compaction equipment
  • Ability to meet schedule requirements
  • Compliance with all applicable local regulations and safety standards.
