Sealed Bids will be received , in triplicate, by the City of Lake Saint Louis, 200 Civic Center Drive, Lake Saint Louis, Missouri 63367, until 12:00 PM, (prevailing central time) on July 9, 2026 and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on the same day. Bidders must sign, in ink, the bid form and all other documents where indicated.  Unsigned bids will not be read.

The proposed work includes the furnishing of materials, tools, equipment and labor necessary to construct N. Henke Road Project in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, with Bid Number: 03-26 .  Work includes the construction of:

This project shall include the following description of the work: The N. Henke Road Project asphalt milling, asphalt paving, constructing 130 LF of 24 in24-inch sewer, shaping ditches, placing rip rap, and restoration of disturbed areas with seed and straw.

A MANDATORY PREBID MEETING will take place at 1382 N. Henke Road on June 24. 2026 at 9:00 AM .  Bids will only be accepted by those who attend the pre-bid meeting.

Bids must be submitted on the appropriate bid forms provided and must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount equal to and not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, payable without recourse to the City.  The Security may be in the form of a certified cashier’s check or a bidder’s bond in the same amount from an Incorporated Surety licensed to do business in the State of Missouri as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a one hundred percent (100%) performance bond, a one hundred percent (100%) payment bond, and guaranty forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of acceptance of bid to him.  Upon request, bid checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected.  No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the bid opening.  The City of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri retains the right to reject any or all bids submitted.

The wage rates applicable to this project have been determined as required by law and are set forth in the detailed specifications. All methods, procedures, equipment, and workmanship used for the completion of this project must be in accordance with the attached Contract Documents.

All requests for clarifications on these bidding documents must be received no later than July 9, 2026 , by 12:00 PM . The enclosed Request for Information (RFI) form shall be used for all submittals. The CITY reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities therein to determine the lowest and best bid, and to approve the bond.
