Medical Readiness Contracting Office, West, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Sentec to provide Brooke Army Medical Center’s ISR Respiratory Department with eight (8) Volumetric Diffusive Respirators (VDR 4) systems model # K00008-1.
Each VDR 4 with Monitron II, Stand & VGA includes:

Minimum clinical performance requirements:

Must provide high-frequency percussive ventilation

Must provide Demand CPAP/PEEP

Must provide Inspiration Time

Must provide pulse frequency

Must provide pulsatile flow

The ability to control the peak operating pressure of the unit

Have a digital manometer

Must have an oxygen blender

Must be attached to rolling stand to transport to patient rooms

Patient safety features: i.e. alarms (audio and/or visual)

Connect to current stock of phasitron breathing

Must be turbine driven, eliminating the need for 50 psi medical air connection

Must have an internal rechargeable battery for Monitron Waveform Analyzer

Power source: AC power

Voltage Requirement: 100 to 240V, 60 Hz

FDA certification or 510K clearance
