Water Treatment Plant Lagoon Residuals Removal - Phase VI

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the “City”), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities (“DPU”), seeks bids from qualified firms for general contracting services for the Water Treatment Plant Lagoon Residuals Removal Phase VI project (the “Project”). The required services include the removal of water treatment residuals from the City’s Water Treatment Plant Residuals Lagoon (the “Work”).

The City's Water Treatment Plant ("WTP") treats an average of approximately 65 million gallons of water per day from the James River, distributing it to residential, commercial, and industrial customers located both in the City and in the surrounding counties. A 4,400-foot-long Residuals Lagoon (the “Lagoon”) receives both the filter backwash and the Sedimentation Basin residuals flows. This Project addresses the removal of the water treatment residuals from the Lagoon.
