Continuing Medical Education Support - Request for Information

Pinellas County Safety & Emergency Services (SES) is seeking information from qualified organizations regarding their ability to provide components of ongoing Continuing Medical Education (CME) for EMS clinicians. The County intends to maintain in-house delivery of Academy-based training and specialized in-service sessions, but is exploring opportunities to contract certain portions of standard medical education to an external provider.

SES provides high-quality EMS education to over 1,000 clinicians across multiple agencies. Currently, most CME is designed, delivered, and quality-assured internally. As part of a strategic review of
education delivery, SES is exploring partnerships with educational institutions or vendors capable of supporting the creation, delivery, quality control, and credentialing of standard medical CME content.
Potential partners may include, but are not limited to, universities, community colleges, or accredited EMS education providers.
