Morrison Tank Screening Project

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking Proposals for Morrison Tank Screening Project . Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/lvmwd , no later than 4:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025 .

In November 2018, much of the District’s service area was impacted by the Woolsey Fire. The trees and shrubs that naturally concealed the three-million-gallon Morrison Tank in Agoura Hills were burned, making the tank visible to the surrounding community. The District desires to install a natural vegetated screen, utilizing trees and shrubs prevalent in the landscape, to visually conceal Morrison Tank. The Contractor will install a high-efficiency irrigation system, which shall include drip or point-source emitters with check valves and pressure regulation with a precipitation rate of less than 1 inch. The District is seeking a highly qualified landscape and irrigation installation contractor to perform the various items as outlines below in the Scope of Services.
