Solicitation Document Description: This Request for Quotation (the “RFQ”) is an invitation by the City of Toronto (the “City”) to prospective Suppliers to submit bids for the supply of services to perform Semi annual inspections, preventive maintenance and calibration of the Truck Weigh Scales at the City of Toronto’s Transfer Stations for the Solid Waste Management Services (SWMS), as further described in Part 3 and the Contract (the “Deliverables”).

Chapter 5 of Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)
Chapter 9 Trade and Cooperation Agreement between Ontario and Quebec (OQTCA)
Pre-Bid Meeting: Optional Meeting
.1        All Suppliers are encouraged to attend an optional meeting to familiarize themselves with the required Deliverables. The optional site meeting will take place at Dufferin Yard at 75 Vanley Crescent local time on August 26, 2025 at 9 A.M., Toronto. Meetings will not be available at any other times.
.2 A record of questions and answers as deemed relevant from the optional information meeting will be distributed in the form of an Addendum and posted on the City's online call document system.
.3        The City reserves the right not to answer questions at the information meeting.
.4        Site Visit Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements: safety boots, hard hat, masks and reflective safety vest.
